  13. 1 1/2 tsp Kewra Water
  14. 4-6 Green Chilies
  15. 4-5 Tomato Slices (1 small tomato)
  16. 2 tbsp Fried Onions
  17. bbq masala
  18. 2 Cinnamon stick medium
  19. Black Cardamom
  20. 8-10 Green Cardamom
  21. 6-8 cloves
  22. 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
  23. 2 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  24. 8 Small Black Peppercorn
  25. 3 tsp Red Chilli Powder or to taste
  26. 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  27. 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  28. ¼ tsp Mace Powder Ginger

Instructions to make to make Barbecue chicken biryani

  1. Roast the ingredients in pan and grind to powder. Add remaining spices and shake well for good mix. Set aside.
  2. Marinate the chicken with Yoghurt, ginger garlic paste and 3 ½ tbsp of BBQ Masala (or to taste) leave for 45 mins.
  3. Boil the soaked rice with bay leaves, 1 cinnamom stick, green cardamom and salt till ¾ th done and set aside.
  4. In a pan pour in oil/ghee and fry the onions till golden brown and then add chicken. Cook until chicken is done and oil/ghee leaves the pan.
  5. Give a coal smoke to the meat.
  6. Once done than arrange the pan by adding few drops of a reserve oil in bottom then add tomato slices, then cooked chicken, then green chilies,
  7. Then add the rice and lastly topped with fried onions, coriander, water & colour mixture and finally with kewra.
  8. Once steam completely fills in pan remove from heat, mix and serve hot.
